Some workers fled over fears of exposure. Others were lured to easier work for similar or higher pay at restaurants and stores. And some were laid off by the nursing homes they worked at as occupancy fell.http://apne.ws/okw442D

Families of nursing home residents say their loved ones are being left without help at mealtime and fewer showers. In the worst cases, when a resident chokes or falls, it may be too late before one of the few caregivers on hand discovers the problem.http://apne.ws/UpmHd3e

They shouldn't have a freakin' lobbying group. It's an industry that pays crap. Have an advocacy group for staff. Healthcare professionals need help now, paycuts are happening all over which no one is talking about. People quit because the job sucks & is no longer worth it.
