Government: "Look, we don't have a problem with you wiping out poor people for money, we ALL do that, it's for the best. Y'all're just doing it so fast that it's noticable. You're screwing up the overall plan!"

Pharmacies can't fill what doctors don't write. Clearly just chasing the money.

You have to give the @AmerMedicalAssn credit. Pharmacies and Pharmaceutical companies are taking a major hit over the opioid crisis. Yet the doctors who profited from writing millions and millions of opioid prescriptions goes completely unnoticed. The AMA certainly has great PR.

In past, in my Red state at least, when states get windfalls from bad corporate behavior, it goes for economic development or other crap that has nothing to do w/the people who've been harmed. Any money should be used to establish INPATIENT treatment ctrs.

This, "it's everyone's fault but by own" mentality is BS. Good luck getting a prescription for pain meds, & even better luck getting them filled in the future. Which of course will be the inevitable results of the this political overreach & overreaction we're experiencing.
