Well weather forcasters are never wrong so I'm sure this will work out just fine.

Predicting the future is hard. The major issue is that the communication is often horrible. The city would be wise to hire someone who is adept at communicating complicated weather risks and making them understandable, therefore leading to more proactive decisions.

Weird. I was just pondering when they were going to hire that person over breakfast this morning.

How bout making sure basement apartments are up to code everywhere in the city? Too much to ask? Probably too much to ask, as it would mean less basement apartments, and push those who couldn't afford the increase in rents due to upgrades
-
Also for the city to help defray the cost ; for homeowners will also have to upgrade pumps in basements . As if this even matters now b/c Washington is stalled on infrastructure bill. We’re living from one disaster to the next on so many levels.
