How about “Republicans plan to take control of Congress by gerrymandering the country”?

This whole "redrawing districts" is such a bullshit waste of money and time. Electoral College needs to be done away with and so does redistricting. 1 vote, 1 count, and no party limitations on ballots, just vote for who and what you want to vote for and be done with it.
-
That makes sense at the presidential level, lot more difficult when you factor in local elections and shifting communities over the years.

Partisan redistricting is dreadful, but (as my mother used to say) two wrongs don't make a right. It's true that it's a real problem if one party is continuing to get greater advantage by the practice, but countering with the same only perpetuates the problem.
-
No, countering this so there's a cost to Republicans is the only way to bring them to the table to make changes. Why would they ever change otherwise?

What is the point of "redistricting" if it makes a minority the majority? How is this Democracy?

@NickRiccardi Speculative, nothing factual, soon fairness must be implemented everywhere, the majority of Americans will demand it. Dems don't need to cheat to win ! If there's fairness everywhere in every aspect, area & level of the electoral process, Dems win hands down !Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
