You mean people don't want to necessarily and endanger their life for a part-time job with no benefits low pay and 50 screaming kids in a closed environment? I wonder why?

My son’s district doesn’t require masks for high schooler in the classroom, but *all* kids must wear them on the bus. Guess you’d be less than shocked to know most high schoolers aren’t wearing them. Last year, when in-school classes returned, they had extra busses. Not this yr.

There are always bus driving jobs available in our neck of the woods, and the pandemic only made it worse.

I still remember my 1st bus driver, when I was in 1st grade. She smoked, screamed & terrified most of us kids. And, the way she went down the big hill by the river was induced a fear inspired silence from all of us. And God forbid you chew gum on her bus. Her name was Shirley.
