The spirit is the subconscious. If you don’t believe in spirit than you can think of it as just body and mind. Doubt drags the mind away from the body, pressure, guilt, repressed emotions, they can be pushed aside but eventually there will be too many to ignore.

She still won the Olympics. IDC. That girl goes hard. They showed her practice sessions this morning where she couldn't land the simplest trick, you could tell it's really messing with her. In my heart she still won the olympics, the whole thing, even if she wasn't in the sport.
