What is a “breakthrough” case? It’s when a vaccinated person gets infected. Experts say COVID-19 vaccines still help reduce the severity of any illness in such cases.http://apne.ws/cvivKM2

But for how long? Only way to tell is widespread testing. If you think you've been exposed it's a good idea to get tested in 3-5 days after the suspected encounter.

The health department where I live (Loudoun County VA) also said that the most likely risk factor of a breakthrough case was living with an unvaccinated person.

Eventually we will admit that vaccines are somewhere around 50% effective, and yet still cause many additional illnesses and deaths... all the while there are effective therapeutics we're suppressing. more reading: https://bullshitman.org/covid-19-and-vaccinations/ …

I am fully vaccinated and still take precautions, I worry LESS about getting infected but know rationally that it is possible, still, I am grateful for the vaccine.

I see people never learned that a vaccine isn't meant to keep you from getting it 100% of the time. The vaccine reduces the severity and length of illness and would prevent infection all together if everyone was vaccinated (see small pox and polio).
