Hours after the collapse of the beachfront condo near Miami, searchers were trying to reach a child whose parents were believed to be dead. Rescuers saved a mother and child, but the woman’s leg had to be amputated to remove her from the rubble.http://apne.ws/bOz02Nb

Teams of 10 to 12 rescuers were entering the rubble at a time with dogs and equipment, working until they tire, then making way for a new team, the state’s fire marshal said. “They’re not going to stop just because of nightfall.”http://apne.ws/1cKk6tJ

This brings up a awful lot of questions from one person hearing a muffled boom.

That building sunk straight into the ground. That kind of controlled demolition wouldn't go unnoticed. Florida has limestone under its bedrock. It's eroding from polluted rain. I think that part of the building fell into a sinkhole and we'll never get those people out.

Its accounted for people. Think positive. How many units were empty ? People not home, unoccupied rental. They have to start from max tenancy AZ nd work backwards until all accounted for.
