Japan started vaccinating Tokyo Games-bound athletes, the Japanese Olympic Committee said. The vaccination of healthy athletes comes as only 2-3% of the general population in Japan has been fully vaccinated.http://apne.ws/SUSONub

Are you trying to make a point, AP? It makes more sense to vaccinate incoming athletes first, a far smaller number of people than the population of Japan. This is a smart, protective policy.

actually, it makes most sense never to have sold out and fought to have the olympics; now it makes most sense to cancel. nothing good ever came of this cynical shitshow.

My question is why 2%? Couldn’t Abe start the vaccinations earlier in summer 2020?! Almost everything was literally delayed.
