An Australian court has rejected a challenge to the government’s power to keep citizens from leaving the country so they don’t bring COVID-19 home. Most Australians have been stranded in their home nation for more than a year under the emergency order.http://apne.ws/KvmO1Pn

that's fine, they don't have enough vaccine yet to make it safe

They do have enough vax overseas though. That's part of the issue. One can be vaccinated within days, vaccine of choice, rather than being told when and with what vaccine you'll get. The #CovidVaccine rollout in Australia is a #ClusterFuk

I'm a dual-citizen. Australia is not my "home". QED.

I'm a dual-citizen. Australia is not my "home country", so yes, I am being unlawfully detained here contrary to treaty provisions.

Is “stranded” the best word to use here?

"unlawfully detained" is much more appropriate
