Japan doesn't have a 99% conviction rate. It's a highly misleading statistic. If the US conviction rate was calculated the same way, its conviction rate would be 99% as well.

Ugh. I get a bad feeling from watching this. I know guys like him. They never admit to any flaws or mistakes. In their world, their perfection is derailed by others. So yeah, I'm sure he did feel like he was hit by a bus--clearly someone finally decided to throw him under one.
