Good thing standardized testing scores have no relation at all to how good of a student you are. Dinosaur system that needs to go.

What incentive is there for any of the students to give a shit about any of the “standardized tests”?

There was too much standardized testing when I was a kid in school. We spent an entire week every year on it. Can't imagine what it's like now. Maybe we can have ONE standardized test a year...that's it.

I support the idea of Less testing, I do not support the idea of NO testing.

Standardized tests are a snapshot of one moment in a student’s year. They have some value, but FYI, they’re not called high-stakes tests for nothing. We’re abusing them, not using them.

Standardized tests are a waste of time for students and teachers. The test serve politicans, not education. The best way to assess how students fared this year? As always, ask the professional who is actually in the classroom.

Why are we so desperately clinging to this!? There’s never been a more perfect time to finally abandon testing like this altogether.
