“This opportunity to take a step back and really think about what you’re doing really changed my mind.” After layoffs and lockdowns, many workers emerging from the pandemic don’t want to return to the jobs they once had.http://apne.ws/zn2fKvy

We are now seeing the pushback of the lower to middle working class. Bottom line they are sick of being treated like sh*t.

People are tired of being treated like shit by their employers. And if employers paid a living wage, they could get & retain better quality workers. A win-win for everyone.

But, the @GOP says they're all lazy people who just want to sit and take gov't handouts. @GOP doesn't care about working people, except to sell them BS, get them angry/afraid and then ask them for $$ for their next election.

/1 The whole premise of this story is nauseating, let's go: First... We have to cut support to force people back to horrible jobs with no benifits. When they were working in the past, they suffered. At the SAME time corporate profits SOARED..

/2 So now the plan is say "we can't do anything to make employees lives better, safer and happier" because it may cost a buck or two extra because of inflation (.01%) really? So now we stories like this, blaming people who want and deserve so much better...

A common thread there. People are sick and tired of being shit on by their employers. Lots of industries, and their customer base, treat the workers like they're barely human, and only exist to serve them. And no personal sacrifice is too much. And for all that, pay like shit too

People are tired of being under paid, over worked and treated like crap! I’ve always said everyone’s job is important and should be treated that way. From a dishwasher to a CEO!pic.twitter.com/hUyjVKaJNa
