The postponed Tokyo Olympics open in 100 days. Tokyo was awarded the Olympics as “a safe pair of hands.” Nothing is certain now. Organizers and the IOC push on despite COVID-19 risks, myriad scandals, and public opposition in Japan to holding the Games.http://apne.ws/OWRQWJ1

It is not safe to hold the Olympics. I think they should be allowed to host it in 2032. If there is anyone left alive on this planet.

Japan Olympics will be a mass super spreader unless they call it off and save lives. Also goes for dumping nuclear power plant contaminated water into the ocean. Both are preventable.

The IOC and JOC prioritize their interests and hide them in the shadows of athletes.

Greed. There will still be a huge turnout of tourists. There will still be a huge entourage of trainers, equipment techs, etc. These people bring tons of money with them, and boost the economy.

Time to cancel these games under the current format. Time to have one single venue and hold them there every 4 years, and stop moving them from country to country.

Already in a deep shadow and headed to a bad end. I feel really bad for the athletes.
