When an African country starts on a promising developmental journey rebels appear from nowhere fully armed and well organized simply to distabilize the country. Who is funding and arming these rebels? To address this issue we should start by establishing the source of funding

The overarching issues the profits of resource extraction are not shared with the local populations. The gas will be extracted shipped to Europe, little of no long term benefit will remain in the country. Where Are the jobs, healthcare, education?
