Someone should gather all the dismissive takes when people asked about this as it happened in real time.

If I remember correctly, hospitals were running out of space. They were to be isolated at nursing homes.
-
The ACTUAL issue was the Nursing Homes themselves not understanding or following protocols. But that doesn't jibe with the narrative she wants to push. Disinformation is all she has going for her.

Still, more investigation is required. NY was hit hard and first. By Trump's federal law, medicaid/medicare do not pay for hospital stays if it is not medically necessary. If there were cleared, then who was going to pay for it?
-
And, if they're discharged, where would they go? Cuomo's order guaranteed them a place to return to because the homes were putting people on the street. Where were these people's families, taking their loved ones in?
