India is huge for tech companies. Twitter could survive without them but with their population and tech industry I doubt they want to.

If Twitter wants to do this, it's their own property. They have the right to do that like they did with Trump. When the Government starts telling you; that's censorship and a free speech issue. I don't know India's laws but this story is a model of what American's are upset over.
