Everyone knows that if you stay an execution you must let the prisoner free instead of simply continuing incarceration.

I remember that murder. For a while many pregnant women were afraid they were gonna get their babies cut out of them.

People who are against the death penalty until they read the crimes of people who get the death penalty, aren't actually against the death penalty. Which kind of amuses me, since lifetime imprisonment can arguably be a worse punishment.

Legit question. Do you think this woman is mentally unwell? If so, are you comfortable with the idea of the state executing sick people? Again, a good faith question because I'm conflicted

Why!? Hasn’t she already been convicted at which times they figured this out!? Why must the system bare the burden of supporting criminals for a lifetime & giving them more privileges than our medicare parents

It actually costs more money to execute someone than it does to imprison them for life, but go off.

What if you'd described Montgomery to us this way instead? At the age of 11, Montgomery learnt what it was like to be attacked herself. Her stepfather Jack, a “mean drunk” who regularly beat her and her mother, began raping her once or twice a week.https://bit.ly/3nCfKbt

The AP mention it in the story but they mention what she did in their tweet to remind people of the crime she was convicted of.
