Sad. I enjoyed every one of John le Carre's books. They gave insight to many fields of study, including psychology. His spies made me want to skulk around and become a spy, despite it not being in my skill set or natural abilities.

Precisely. I called it defining the psychology of the age during the last half of the 20th into the 21st Century. Terrible, terrible tragedy this. I've read every one of his books. Phenomenal writer. RIP forever.
