Why keep kids in public schools when the teachers won't go in to teach?

Every time my son’s public school tries to add in-person learning on campus, I get another report that someone has tested positive for COVID-19. I’ve received 5 such notices since Sept. 22nd.

Serves them right. We are finishing week 8. In person learning. Figure it out! Teach core subjects only. Do two 3 hour shifts. Skip days. Y’all have degrees. Some of y’all got master’s. They need to be back.

Why would you homeschool when almost all districts are teaching the same curriculum online for students at home? I mean, yes, keep your kids at home (as we are), but why not take advantage of the schooling the districts are already delivering right to your home?
