Yet Dell has their $300 laptops ready to order, and bestbuy has quite a few <$500 laptops, some $329 available. So Chromebooks are not available. A windows laptop is a better value as it will retain its usefulness longer. I would take a 14" Windows 'puter over a Chromebook anyday
