    Construction of new U.S. homes surged 22.6% last month as homebuilders bounced back from a lull induced by the coronavirus. The Commerce Department reported that new homes were started an annual pace of nearly 1.5 million in July, highest since February.http://apne.ws/mZLQSmY

        OK I agree with this, however building a cluster of town houses within six months in my opinion is considered setting up teepees and that sounds structured homes.

        I suppose this is good, but where I live, there are way too many newly built homes & condos that sat empty pre-covid.

        Developers see empty land and cant bare to leave it that way. So they build and then sell the new development and move on to the next dwindling open spaces.
