Can you get the coronavirus twice? Scientists don’t know for sure yet, but they believe it’s unlikely. Find out more in @AP's “Viral Questions” series. Email your questions to FactCheck@ap.org.http://apne.ws/vSmI5vO

I have RN’s in my family. South Florida ER. They have seen 10 people (last count) that have come back months later, sick again, test positive again. 🙁

Probably not exactly the same virus twice. The problem - like winter flu- is that the virus mutates and creates new opportunities in recovered patients

This article is misleading. The report repeats that scientists don't know, but you state it's unlikely. Also, we know people can become reinfected already. We just don't know at what rate.https://www.news-medical.net/news/20200720/Doctor-in-Israel-reinfected-with-COVID-19-three-months-after-recovering.aspx …

Won’t be long before unlikely translates into possible, possible translates into likely. Just like airborne transmission did.

The media just want the population to live in fear regardless of what science says.

I think I read that at least one NBA player got the virus again. Maybe two. I’m sure there are other actual anecdotal evidence as well. It seems like at the very least there’s a chance one could get it again.
