They crush it alright just this way in banana republics. We have actually imposed very tough sanctions on countries which tried this before in their countries. Please read some civics. I had to studied it when I went to school, why didn’t you?

Anything can become a test case if you want it to. I think given the messaging and paramilitary attitude of the protesters/occupiers it would be hard to argue against federal action.

Paramilitary, by nature and definition only means trained and armed insurgents, which isn't the case here. The united part in the country's name stands for cooperation between the state and federal levels, which also didn't happen here. If it were, they'd identify themselves.
