I wonder why she was out there alone with her 4 year old? And not wearing her life jacket. Did the child fall in first and she just dove in to rescue him? And couldn’t save herself? You’re right, it’s sad and odd.

What a wonderful, selfless mom. She made sure he was safe before thinking about herself. Prayers for her and her family.

It’s somewhat creepy that there are numerous incidents of this exact same scenario happening at that particular lake.

We have multiple drownings, NorCal, every year.. lakes, rivers, creeks. One last year at the creek I live above. Lots of big boulders to get dragged under. Went tubing down a creek w/friends & one almost got pulled under boulders, mini whirlpools under them, scary.

This is really tragic and kind of heartbreaking. I never watched Glee and didn't who know of actress until this story came out, but she sound's like she belongs in heaven. Poor kid.

4 year olds are able to remember things. Police would have interviewed him when they found him which would have only been a few hours after this happened. It is not suspicious to get this information from children.
