U.S. shoppers lately have seen the costs of meat, eggs and even potatoes soar as the coronavirus has disrupted processing plants and distribution networks. Overall, the cost of food bought to eat at home skyrocketed by the most in 46 years.http://apne.ws/2o2x9an

If it’s ok to loot and riot throughout the USA, then it’s ok to get back to pre-coronavirus virus days.... ......good luck AP trying to get back ‘but the virus’ narrative too.... 😘

Capitalism! Isn’t it great. When demand goes up, so do prices.

Purposely destroy the food chain..... Supply and demand become an issue. Nevermind shortages causes by solar minimums alone and volcanic aerosols which exaggerates normal precipitation rates. They are also playing off the fact of a 100yr viral load for last 400yrs.

Yes...prices are skyrocketing. But NOT because of "disrupted supply chains." Suppliers know demand has increased. They purposely allow shortages to continue to INCREASE demand even more. Then send out lame press releases about how factories can't handle the increased demand. BS!

Check the pictures of piles and piles of potatoes being thrown away, pigs been culled and trashed, and milk literally being poured over a field. If their is a shortage, it’s 100% self inflicted.

It amazed me, prior to the lockdown, how few of my friends and coworkers stocked any food in their houses besides some essentials. The shortages are also related to folks finally stocking their pantries and eating at home, instead of eating out for two meals a day.

Yes, but how do you explain the empty shelves of liquid hand soap? Did people NOT wash their hands before this pandemic? Or wipe their butts?
