To curb the spread of the coronavirus the Japanese government asked people to work from home. Contrary to the ultramodern image, in many respects the country is technologically challenged and many Japanese lack the basic tools needed to work from home.http://apne.ws/RVugkbj

Ive read many articles claiming that their govt hasnt been transparent with their statistics so they could hold the olympics as scheduled until its postponed. And things are chaotic there. Even well known celebs in Japan died of covid19

About half of Japanese still use those flip phones too. Japan is frozen in time in the 90s.https://twitter.com/gregorymelody/status/1254323903020912640?s=20 …

I worked in Japan for 6 months and this article is 100% accurate with my experience. They gave me a work cellphone and laptop that I wasn’t allowed to take out of the office! If you had to take a conference call at 9pm or later you stayed in the office to take it. Crazy.

When Jonas Salk was once asked who owned the patent for the polio vaccine, he said “There is no patent. Could you patent the Sun?” These men truly were Titans!
