The Uni I graduated from was asked if he would take a pay cut during discussions on budget cuts for other depts. He flat out said he would not. Despite the utter hatred from virtually everyone, nothing changed that fact.

Try cutting the departments and courses that don’t matter and/or don’t produce paying jobs after graduation. You’d cut your course catalog by 60% or more.

Or they can stop paying their coaches and administrators astronomical amounts of money
maybe also not charge future teachers, nurses, and computer specialists $90,000 for a four year degree that’s only going to give them a $40,000-$60,000 yearly salary

Right about now these schools are wishing they saved 6 months worth of money to cover their budgets. It’s not like they are not raping the average youth for a college education. Yet none of there financial or economic professors could help them save a fund for bad times?
