Huh.. imagine if Ca worked to solve the homeless problem BEFORE a crisis forced your hand.

Maybe they should just bus them to other states with one way tickets, that's how other states do it.

They need to leave the Winter Shelters open longer. When they’re not open we see more showing up in the emergency room asking for just one hour to sleep. It’s sad.

Everyone should be doing this anyway. Coronavirus is a wake up call for humanity. We reap what we sow.
@realDonaldTrump We need to start sowing love, compassion and understanding. @senatemajldr Our lives depend on it much more than we know.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

$150 million doesn’t sound like much. The feds have to start kicking in money that they cut in 1980 and state taxes have to rise for long term affordable housing. Nothing is free. There were very few homeless before Reagan. Poor people had shelter. Consequences.

All I ever see/hear is people ignoring them, telling them to get a damn job, don't give them handouts and deny any housing if I have to pay rent, but let's put all the blame on the state.

Haven't they had like 20 years to deal with the homeless issue?

I would think most of the homeless drug users would already have or have had the illness.
