It's not unequal rather being rebellion. If she is not married or she is taking care of her self, which is supposed to be her husband/brothers (Guardian) duty. Then her brothers/husband would be held accountable but the Inheritance.

Christian doctrine: dictates that heirs, regardless of their sex, receive equal shares. Islamic doctrine: female heirs inherit half that of men. Do Muslims not see a problem with this?

In Islam there is no time in a woman's life when she is not entitled to mandatory support (financial). Either her father, husband or brothers. If she is not married n her brothers get 2/3 of the inheritance while she gets 1/3, the brothers are still expected by Islamic law to...
