They should raise the credit scores by 100 of everyone involved. That would have much more of a financial impact than a payout would.

That's basically <$5 per person. I lost more than that from the breach, along with the hassle of having to close accounts, start new ones, change all passwords, etc. And live in fear of when they will use my info again. But hey, "Here's your five bucks" will barely buy a coffee
