I remember seeing Pain Clinics everywhere when visiting So Fla and wondering what the heck that was about. Of course, they're all gone now but since Florida is the birthplace of Medicare fraud, I'm guessing it was profitable. Damn the consequences.

It has been estimated that 3 in 10,000 are addicted to opioids. If this is true, this is most certainly NOT an “epidemic.”

In Appalachia, after their drs were raided, people previously on medication and under a doctors care could not get pain medicine anymore. And they began driving to Fla for their medications. When those FLA facilities were raided these same folks began turning to heroin. Nice job.

1) Put pain management back in the hands of doctors and their patients. And 2) make treatment for those with addiction problems... as easy as a phone call to make any other drs appointment.
