    American Airlines says it will push back the date returning the Boeing 737 Max jet to the air to Nov. 3, which is two months longer than it had planned. The Max was grounded in March following two deadly crashes, and American has 24 of the planes.http://apne.ws/TCumOfJ

        If they haven’t fixed the problems by now I suspect it means they can’t be fixed in software, which would mean it’s never coming back in service.

        Those aircraft will never fly under that name. The DC-10 recovered nicely but don't see that happening here. They will either have to change the name or retire them from service all together. The flying public is unlikely to pay to fly on that aircraft. Just an opinion.
