Much more humane to lock him up forever in solitary a la Chelsea Manning, hmm?

Assange is on the hook for like 5 years max, for a single non-violent offense. He's already been in a self-imposed prison for 7 years. How does anyone think the death penalty is anywhere close to applying?

The US would have to give a promise not to impose the death penalty in order for the UK to extradite him there. The US gives that promise to anti-death penalty countries all the time.

The UK cannot send him to the US if he faces the death penalty. It is against his ECHR A2 right to life.

I dont think he'd get the death penalty but why should he be protected when #RealityWinner is locked away? What he was spinning would irritate the most peaceful of governments..now he's pissed off multiple countries what did he expect? Hearts & flowers
