I’m pretty sure I was in this class with the author,
@matthewzapruder: https://m.poets.org/poetsorg/text/second-look-revisiting-w-s-merwins-vixen …. Never had taken a class in poetry and it was taught by a legend and I had no idea what I was doing but I recall being mesmerized by Merwin’s The Vixen. -
I’m sure I still have this book somewhere. I didn’t keep all the books from that class but for reasons I can’t fully explain this one stuck with me.
