Trump frequently boasts that the taxes he’s imposed on imports have showered the U.S. Treasury with newfound revenue. But for many businesses, the tariffs are escalating costs, creating hardships and magnifying uncertainty. @PaulWisemanAP explains.http://apne.ws/pVNB5Vh

90 percent seems ridiculous and if true, Trump is right to put an end to this nonsense.

Like paying higher prices, because of his tariffs. Yeah, that's SO good for us.

Since it is American importers that pay these tariffs, what he has effectively done is raised taxes on American businesses, who then pass those costs on to American consumers. Have fun with that.

Tariffs are ultimately paid by the individual consumer: They are paid by the importer, who passes it along as a higher price on their goods to the manufacturer, who passes it along to the store, who passes it along to the consumer. YOU'RE PAYING TRUMP'S TARIFFS, NOT CHINA.

The soy farmers may never recover. China is. Ow getting their soy beans from Russia. After the tariffs end they most likely won’t return to US soy.
