Exactly this. Services like Netflix with low cost, easy access actually helped to reduce pirating. But now we are going back to the "exclusive content" model on 50 difference services. Making it hard to get content. It is the same as the cable model that people found frustrating.

Big media will screw it up and make garbage we wont watch or pay for. So we will have to show them the pirate model AGAIN.

There are already plenty of online streams for love sports. Nothing official, but check out the reddit streams subreddits for different leagues. Pretty much every game is available!
