I judged think they’re Kings. Aren’t pipelines safer than tanker semi trucks? And put out less GHG than trucks? Oil leaks from pipelines aren’t as dangerous as we’re being told

They are not safe, they are always spilling, how are oil leaks not dangerous? lol it's oil not water.
-
We live on oil. Accidents happen. It's still safer then shipping it by boat, train or truck.
-
It’s 2018, there’s no reason to be building more oil pipelines when we can literally power the entire country on renewable energy. It’s about corporations trying to keep a foothold on unsustainable (but profitable) sources of energy
-
But we can’t power the country on renewable yet. One day, which will be great. But not yet
-
Because we don’t *invest* in it. We can, but oil companies and foreign interests would become irrelevant. Countries like the US are abundant with renewable sources.
-
They always seem to save we're 10-20 years away from making renewable energy workable...and then 10-20 years later, they say the same thing.
