@AP “Arrested five people over a video that showed a cardboard model being burned” Did you ever in your life imagine reading these words?!https://twitter.com/AP/status/1059740933003059200 … -
Perhaps if you studied the back story you'd understand the outrage.
-
I’m very aware of the back story, but I don’t think people should be arrested for jokes, no matter how bad taste they are.
-
I'd agree the principle, but this isn't a joke. The public inquiry is still sitting and taking evidence.

Relevance?

You need to ask?

Clearly you have no answer.

And how many thousands of people are due to be arrested for playing Cards Against Humanity?

This is contrary to British Humor & Tolerance
that has been otherwise OK accepting jokes & cartoons on religious figures also

People are being stabbed daily but let’s worry about feelies lol bad taste yes of course but arrest-able offense? Congrats this is what comes to America if Dems win
-
Tweet unavailable
-
Oh your feelies are irrelevant. Also, if their liberals had actually paid attention to the building it wouldn’t have burned to the ground. It had multiple violations of fire code
-
Maybe but the law isn’t irrelevant. Perhaps if the conservative government weren’t wasting all their time and efforts on the shit show that is Brexit we could arrest someone who was actually responsible.
-
Wouldn’t that be the head of public housing? Or whatever you guys call that department. You’re going to arrest someone for being a douchebag? That’s a pretty slippery slope man. What law did they break? Burning something in public? (Genuine question)
-
Public order offence. Not a slippery slope the public are furious so they need to be public punished. They won’t go to jail but if you’re a POS like these people it needs to be stamped out. No doubt the GOP would make them candidates for president.
