I sympathize with Mr Davis, but the POW/MIA Accounting Agency doesn't have unlimited resources. WWII ended over 73 years ago. Brothers, sisters, wives, and children of those vets are still alive. The Civil War ended 153 years ago. A line has to be drawn somewhere.
What is the disconnect @USArmy Conduct the tests.

I bet they are not in the DNA data base
You know what happens when you die? A lot of things, you are just not included.

You would think one of those DNA testing companies would sponsor this. Would make a great ad or special.
This makes no sense. The technology to do DNA testing is there. Even if it has been over 150 yrs, it is right that the families of those who died know the truth.
Test or preserve it all. It's fascinating how history can be reconstructed in minute detail from archeology these days. As time progresses, the cost of testing decreases and its accuracy increases.
