So, I don’t believe the Saudi Gov... I don’t really trust Erdogan... Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a functional State Dept. to sort this out?pic.twitter.com/lUpIrDGWC6

Donnie is paid directly by the Crown Prince, he doesn't care what Turkey has to say. Everything is transactional to Trump and Turkey doesn't have any money to give him.

No one should care what Turkey has to say ever. Look at their own history and present dealings with journalists

Not denying you have a valid point. Just elaborating on how U.S. foreign policy has degraded under Donald. It didn't used to hinge on how much money a country deposited to an offshore accounts of the sitting President. If the Saudi's took out Erdogan, I wouldn't shed a tear.

Trump had a lot of money invested in Turkey before the election though, so it definitely isn't based on that. Erdogan is all just talk, always has been. He claims to have all this evidence and hasn't even released it.

The amount of money Donnie was going to make licencing his name on a Istanbul hotel, compared to baksheesh, Donnie would make on a Saudi arms deal is like comparing a mouse to an elephant.

The Saudi arms deal is more than just money. Saudi Arabia is one of the few countries unquestionably supporting US policy in the Middle East. Plus it's a country you would need to stay invested in. When other investors pulled out a few weeks ago, Chinese investors came in.

The Saudis have been equipped with U.S. arms for the last 40 years, China isn't going to sell them anything like the advanced systems we provide. I'm not worried. Killing a U.S. based dissident wasn't going to help win hearts in America. Hopefully they resolve this.

They won't need advanced systems really. Chinese weaponry would be enough. Also if you think the Saudis are bad now, imagine how they are without US oversight. I can gaurantee that the US is the only thing preventing them from building a nuclear program at this point
