Yeah, they're pretty dangerous. I can see why trump needs to spend billions sending 15,000 troops with their tanks and automatic weapons to the border to protect us against families with no money, vehicles or weapons.

The US averages 100,000 refugees a year. If all 7000 make it to the border, pass the screening process, and are admitted, that would still leave 93000 you knew nothing about. 93000 integrated into US society without all this fear mongering and panic.

This has nothing to do w fear mongering. MSM reported the folks in the caravan were refugees seeking asylum. So, my question to you is, 'are they seeking asylum or not'? Answer that question.

Drew, he can't answer the question because they are, mostly, economic migrants and do not qualify for asylum. Full stop.

It is heartbreaking to think that these poor, desperate people are being vilified & that they are in any way a threat. They could be any one of us after a quake,a flood or some other disaster; every bigot, Congressperson, Fox news host,& ICE officer needs to feel their pain.

How many should we let in? Do these folks get to pass all other legal immigrants following the laws to become a legal citizen? Should we just get rid of our border? What other countries would allow this to happen in their country? #think

Fear mongering? I've known about this crap for years. He's just the first president to address it. It was one of the reasons he got elected... build the wall. Refugees, according to UN Law, must seek help outside the first country they are escaping.

Refugees are entirely different than asylum seekers. While you can apply for *refugee status*at a US embassy, you cannot apply for asylum there; the law requires you to come into the actual US to apply for asylum.
