Maybe the candidates shouldn’t be saying one thing behind doors and another to voters.

Agreed but why didn’t Project Veritus target the conservative candidate?
-
Who knows. Maybe they have, maybe they haven’t. How come there aren’t more actual investigative journalists?
-
I’m not here to defend journalists. I just know an attempt to smear one side when I see it.

Going to ignore all the things they were caught saying, or does that not fit your narrative AP?
-
What were they caught saying?
-
We dont know , neither report said it , if Project Veritas themselves releases a video , we will know , i trust Project Veritas over alot of MSM and politicians , what they do is impressive.
-
"Staffers became suspicious after the woman began asking questions of junior-level staffers to try to get them to say things that weren’t true" - Not sûre you could call them trustworthy in this instance.
-
Maybe not in this instance , but ive seen their other stuff in the past , and thats what im basing my opinion on them off of.
-
Ah yes, like when O'Keefe planned to embarrass a female journalist with sexually explicit props, or when he deceptively edited his recordings of a director only to find the director had made his own recordings and was able to expose him!http://uk.businessinsider.com/james-okeefe-project-veritas-sting-fails-2017-11 …

Let's not forget how he got a teacher fired - a teacher who once threw herself in front of a van to protect students. Her crime? She complained about *someone else* using a slur. Wonder if there's a scouting badge for that?https://thinkprogress.org/anti-union-okeefe-video-smears-teacher-who-jumped-in-front-of-van-to-save-students-gets-her-a761b3629a6/ …

An honest and truthful candidate has nothing to be worried about. It’s the ones who pretend to be someone they are not that get called out. Voters deserve to know who they are voting for. Afterall, they work for us!

So we completely avoid what was exposed about the candidate in the headline

Embarrass? I think the correct term is expose. Fake news strikes again with their agenda driven "news".
-
“Journalism is printing what someone else dosent want printed , everything else is public relations” - George Orwell.
-
If you think any of the “news” today is anything near journalism you are delusional.
-
I dont think , i used that quote in context of this story and what Project Veritas does.
-
I didn't reply because I couldn't figure out where you were going. I also don't know how that quote fits today. Seems 99% of media we consume today is op-ed's, not sure where real journalists went. I think things are better when the ratio of journalism to opinion is higher.
-
News organizations should separate the two. Like a newspaper they have the editorial section, now they blend news an opinion like a smoothie. I think the chunks and seeds are the news, but I'm not always certain, lol. I can tell the difference, but wonder about others sometimes.
