This is news? You should have led with ‘he was a traitor to America’
-
Arnold was a highly recognized war hero before he became a traitor. His is as interesting a part of history as any.
-
True. I love history, I just don’t like seeing the narrative being altered. Erasing history, tearing down statues etc.
-
This is not a narrative being altered, it may be one you weren't aware of (for some reason), but it isn't an alteration. What you are reacting to is a commercial message about a history story much longer than one episode of it. I just don't like seeing truth washed in smear.
-
I do know the history. Being a decorated hero then turning traitor just means traitor in my book, all else is superseded. I don’t care for and gentle pushes to lighten the facts about a traitor. Like I said if only they led with that all would be ok.
-
1. You just claimed an opinion about something you don't know about. 2. Learning the whole story tells us how it happened. 3. Those who can't learn are doomed to failure. 4. Yes he's still a traitor in the end and you're still just spouting ignorance of middle school history.
-
Well, blame it on public education I guess.
