Keep proof of your vote!

I vote by mail, due to disabilities and other factors. Added advantage: I can take my time, copy documents, have everything witnessed and photographed. Still might not get notified of prob, but that also happens at polls.

The truth is that vote by mail is a hotbed for fraud by both parties. The biggest problem is multi-state voting and asinine arguments that that is allowed. A national voter registry that is cross referenced to SSNs and tax filings would reduce fraud.

I thought the same, so I'm going in person and checking it twice for NO mistakes

I’ve been saying that. My husband voted by mail. I told him he wasted his vote.

What kind of a country is the US becoming when you no longer can trust that your vote is counted.
-
The kind you vote Republican in.

OMG IF YOU CAN, JUST GO VOTE IN PERSON--- it literally took me less than 10 mins and the place was 5 mins away -- uber and lyft will help you if you cannot get there.
-
The problem is that republicans have been removing voting locations and making voting harder by making it harder to get to voting places, and making the lines a lot longer so people spend hours in line, something many have issues with when they can't get the day off work.
-
This is to combat the corruption rampant at the local level. One Citizen, One Vote.
-
Except that its not. republicans keep making the claim, but they have yet to show any actual proof. Even the group trump made & quietly disbanded didn't find anything that he was claiming. They are also trying to use other methods, though this one failed.https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/24/us/randolph-county-polling-closures-vote/index.html …

We should probably just go with voting at the actual polling locations. On the day of. With photo IDs.
-
Not everyone has them
-
Stupid argument. Only US Citizens are allowed to vote. Every US citizen has ZERO trouble getting an official ID. One Citizen, One Vote.
-
You have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s not an “argument....”. We don’t have polling locations in my state. THAT’s what we’re discussing .
-
Ah. I was confused as well. You don't have polling locations? I can't even fathom that. Is every election in your area done through the mail?
-
It’s a state w/a large rural territories. I’m not originally from here so, it was weird to me as well. However, I always voted via mail in CA,
#absentee simply b/c it was convenient. -
They gotta set up some legit polls at local schools or municipal buildings. I can understand taking advantage of the absentee option if it's available, but I'd prefer that it NOT be available. And they should give everyone election day off work to nip that argument in the bud.
-
I concur. National holiday. Learn civics. Vote in person.

Many don't have cars, many don't have money for taxis or any other form of transportation, and many are disabled and unable to get out the door to vote. Let's make you disabled and let me yell at you to get your lazy ass out of that bed and go vote in extreme pain.
-
I am disabled, and I am fully prepared to cast my ballot on Tuesday 11/6; I have made the appropriate accommodations and will vote as others across the nation, so my recommendation to you is that you get on your knees and suck it!!!!

I risked my life so that you have the freedom to be a dick, so please continue with your unrequited rhetoric. Please refer to Merriam Webster for definitions.
