Gross. Why state-sponsored murder as punishment for murder?
-

-
Vs taxpayer dollars to house them for 40 years?
-
Death penalty is more expensive due to appeals process in many states.
-
In Texas they put them down pretty fast
. Don’t mess with Texas? -
Multiple years minimum But still less money than housing for life
-
TX Dept of Corrections mixes up that special sauce by the gallons.

Death Penalty puts greater financial cost/burden on the taxpayer. Appeals, etc. Put him in the worst penitentiary in the U.S. and he won’t last 6 months
-
Unfortunately for people like him they lock them up so tight that other inmates can’t even get to them.
-
Pretty sure the Aryans will give him ample protection.
-
Nah. The Aryans will give him up with a quickness. They’d rather have a few more cartons of smokes.

Fine. Whatever. But if you think giving this guy the death penalty will deter future homicidal maniacs with death wishes from committing mass murder, I have a degree from Trump University to sell you.
-
He deserves it, it's that simple to me.
-
Just because he deserves the death penalty doesn't mean we deserve to give it to him. Executing those who no longer pose a threat lowers us morally and spiritually.

So this means the PA tax payers will have to pay for him to sit on death row for the next twenty years.

He's being charged with Federal offenses, that would be death row in federal prison- not state so everyone's taxes are paying. It cost more for death penalty inmate vs life sentence inmate in this country
-
how much are we talking about
-
I'm not sure on federal cost, but state cost average like 1.5X lifetime in jail. https://deathpenaltyinfo.org/costs-death-penalty …

What do they need to seek!? Just get it done! And get the other guy who killed two black people in a grocery store, too.
-
Both of those "people" are a waste of space. Good riddance and I hope they burn in hell.
