I cannot comprehend how a non citizen has the right to influence the election of a country they are not a citizen of? How does that make sense? How? So what if they live here? The fact that they are not a citizen in itself means that their allegiance is TO ANOTHER COUNTRY.

This is illegal. Cut off all federal-to-state funding now.
-
It’s not illegal at all, and California is the 5th largest economy in the world. They do just fine, and provide more revenues than they use.
-
Yes it is. Article 2, Section 2 of the California Constitution declares it illegal.
-
The California Constitution applies to California state law and therefore California state elections. This election is for the local school board, and they only qualify if they have children attending the school. Nothing about it is illegal.
-
Supremacy Clause meananything to you? State trumps Local level and Federal trumps state level! So if this is under California state law then it is illegal for noncitizens to vote in a county whose borders were drawn by the state.
-
Read the tenth amendment. States get to decide who is eligible to vote for state elections, localities for themselves. It’s that whole small government thing conservatives are always going on about.

Don't know why y'all complaining. If your child goes to a school, regardless of their citizenship surely everyone with a vested interest in the welfare of the child, i.e a parent, should have a voice. Not like the American education system can get any worse. Nothing to lose.
