Americans still read books, it’s just digital now, it’s easier to carry a nook and have dozens of books ready to read

I can only assume they have lots of real estate and or long term leases on existing sites, because bookstores are becoming a niche market. I buy at least a book a week, but I read them on my iPad. Sterile, but the bugs here in Cambodia don't eat them.

Obviously they need to “own” the digital online book buying market or physical copies. Amazons also eating them up. Innovate early and often, or die. Love them and hope someone buys and synergizes with their channels.

I hope we don't lose another bookstore of the caliber of Barnes & Noble!
@BNBuzz Buying everything through Amazon takes out the human connection of touching base. Checking out those displays of books and asking questions. Stop & have a cup of coffee! Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
