How about softening our approach to our classmates/students instead. Stop labeling kids as "bad seed[s]" an offer them a hand. Some won't accept it, some will. The ones who do might get through to the ones who don't.

I grew up before the Brady Bill. Guns were more accessible than now, yet we didn't shoot each other. Why? It wasn't because the schools were "hardened".

You had more money, so better lifestyle, less uncertainty, less population overall, better brainwashing through religion etc. Also, blacks and women were largely missing from the picture.

Well, it's not a "fix" for school shootings as they will still happen as long as we do the same as we've been. It will help save some people hopefully when the shootings happen though.
