My 65 year old mother donated a kidney to her 72 year old brother in 2016. The pre-procedure process took almost two years, mainly because my uncle was a geriatric recipient. So glad it finally came together!
-
It took so long because most programs are unwilling to work with geriatric cases, as their outcomes may hurt success rates.

I would give my wife my heart if I could! They won’t let me and understand however our daughter is going to need her advice for the years to come advice that as her father I cannot even fathom. It’s not saying that my advice isn’t important. I just know my daughter that well!

I know some dudes in Tijuana that could hook you up... What kind of parts you looking for?... Also, to solve the organ problem, we could go dumpster-diving behind Hillary's major foundation donor (definitely NOT legally-classified as campaign funds)~ Planned Parenthood...

I am a living kidney donor (to my mom). Organ donation is amazing.
